Yet More Dangers in Obfuscation

With the meanings of words changing, and some words being given more power while others are given less, it comes as no surprise that a popular magazine would release an article that appears to attempt to normalize incest.

This article go so far as to change the meaning of incest, however, softening it into genetic sexual attraction. This has been going on for decades, and has even been lampooned in a popular George Carlin rant. Adding softer language to something does not change what it is. Instead, it serves as a line of division with which someone can call themselves proper and another person improper.

Beyond that, it blurs the lines yet again of hate speech. When will come, the first instance in which someone calls it incest, and another person gets offended because they were merely engaging in genetic sexual attraction?

The term “slippery slope” gets thrown around a lot, but in this case it is clear that we are on one.

Don’t fall.

Silencing Your Opponent.

It is important, whether in the world of politics or one’s everyday life, to be able to debate, and do it cogently and elegantly. You must know your opponent’s side as well as your own, and be able to see why they can see validity in their argument, even if you completely disagree. It is important to be educated on both sides of the issue at hand, and be willing to play devil’s advocate to yourself.

It’s important to simply do it at all.

This is a sticking point for most college-age special interest protesters. From blowing air horns at Milo Yiannopoulos speaking engagements, to creating white noise to drown out any rational discussion, to blowing air horns at a Toronto men’s rights talk, special interest groups make it clear that one interest they don’t have is rational discussion. It’s surprising that Ben Shapiro’s talk at Berkeley went off without a hitch, with police actually doing their job and keeping Antifa away. In other news, Berkeley professors are now on strike to protest Free Speech Week at Berkeley.

It’s alarming that people who are supposedly educated, and supposedly educating tomorrow’s leaders, are so invested in the new art of not debating.

I’ll give you a pro tip, free of charge: If you cannot argue your point, whether or not you convince your opponent of your position, without resorting to interrupting noise and a refusal to continue or to let your opponent speak; then your opinion has no value.

Silencing opinions you don’t agree with does not help you grow or learn, and the more quickly people can figure that out, the quicker we can get back to growing as a nation. I encourage everyone who reads my blog to argue with me, and to please seek out the opposite of your own opinions.

If you don’t know everything, you don’t know anything.

My first quote! Tell your friends!

Gender roles and Other Fluff.

It is evident during this disaster of hurricane Harvey and other disasters like it, that gender roles, as much as some people dislike them, are necessary. A picture is going around the Internet right now of a man carrying a woman who is carrying a baby. That is what gender roles are. The man protects the woman and the woman protects the child.

Modern leftists desperately want to erase those roles by telling men that they are dispensable, that they are useless, that they are merely sperm donors; some feminists even go as far as to suggest that men be killed wholesale, with a few kept for breeding purposes. Women, however, need to work and be empowered and be part of the military, etc. Women who stay at home, raising children and providing a stable environment are castigated and treated as enemies to the cause. Children, biologically unable to take care of themselves and make proper decisions, are being tasked with ideas and decisions that shouldn’t concern them for years.

Not Just The Men.

If you’ll notice, The popular leftist groups Antifa and BLM are full of men who are not doing their job. They are full of men who are disenfranchised and emasculated, and they’ve been fed the idea that the system exists solely to keep them down. Thus, they do not have jobs. Getting a job would mean the system wins. Instead they use their time wisely with protesting, closing down areas of universities, and intimidating anyone who disagrees with them.

The men of Antifa have been emasculated by the third wave feminists that they have allied with for years now. They are the classic White Knight. For them, women are on a pedestal. They don’t believe in the establishment, but more than that, they don’t believe in themselves. Terms like “Cis-male” are used as derogatory terms to let them know that by being born with a penis and still identifying with having one as an adult, then they are part of the problem. This is patently untrue, but adolescent boys are taught these things during their teen years via social media. Anyone who stands up to a woman is an enemy.

Their inability to reconcile what they’ve been taught to what they intrinsically are creates a state of cognitive dissonance. In this state, one falls into depression, and is easily manipulated. Their impotent rage is given a focus, and they respond with violence and frustration.

Men are not supposed to be feminists. At best, a man is a distant feminist ally; not taking up the mantle of feminism or buying the T-shirt. A man is simply there to protect the women and children who cannot protect themselves from the men and women who would seek to harm them.

Men are supposed to build and maintain society. Antifa has shown that it only exists to dismantle, disrupt and destroy. Berkeley is a prime example of their propensity for violence and destruction

But The Women.

The women who make up the modern feminist front are brash, vulgar people, unfit for true womanhood. Easily identified by their utter lack of care for their appearance, third-wave feminists are the vanguard for movements like Her Body her Choice, that centers on killing babies at an amazing rate; Healthy At Every Size, which insists that a 400 pound sedentary woman is exactly the same as a Victoria’s Secret model. Antifa member Venus Rosales is an example of third-wave feminism, having no care whatsoever for appearing feminine. Aside from that, she insists on further devaluing herself by acting in fetish porn involving hirsute women. I pity the man she entraps, who finds one of her old videos while trying to relieve himself of his sexual frustration because sleeping with your husband is a big third-wave feminist no-no.

Third-wave feminists are nothing like the feminists who fought for voting rights, and jobs. Those women, who still exist in a quiet minority, treat people around them decently, have good manners, and are educated in something meaningful. Now, they are all permanent adolescents with no plan to grow up. They idolize women like Rihanna and are proud to be called a Bitch. They think gender studies is a viable degree. They will be herding cats in their 40’s.

And The Children, Too.

In recent years, leftists have pushed hard for laws involving children. At first this might sound good, but it is most assuredly not. In Canada, right now, there is a law called the Supporting Children, Youth, and Families Act of 2017. In short, it aims to remove, by force, children from parents who don’t support their chosen gender identity. That means that if a five-year-old boy says, within earshot of anyone, that they are a girl, and the parents don’t immediately bring the child to a psychologist to investigate it further, that the government has the authority to take that child away.

Aside from that, the bill also allows children to be taken away from parents who don’t allow them to believe in the easter bunny or tooth fairy.

Kamala Harris, 32nd Attorney General for California and current Junior Senator for California, wants children to have more say in what happens in the government. This is what the left does. They try to give children the power to change things because they know that rational adults will not accept any of the insane things the left wants.

Word on the street is that Kamala Harris will be running for Prez in 2020. Save the date, folks, it’s gonna be a good show!

They’re Like Animals.

Not all is lost. These fringe groups only account for a thousandth of the population. They, collectively, are a rudderless mass that simply gravitates toward anything that looks controversial, knowing there will be attention. Like a herd of animals moving on to the next food source. Some of them will grow out of it. I did. Some will realize what they’ve done and spend the rest of their life trying to right their wrongs. Some will realize that their need for attention should really be directed at their parents(HINT: This is what happens when you don’t pay attention to your kids), and some will continue to be scumbags because they are narcissists and sociopaths that need weak-minded people to thrive.

I Hate Them.

Not really, though. Just continuing a trope for those willing to read between the lines.

I actually hope that they realize the error of their ways, and choose to warn later generations of the folly of professional protesting. A smart man learns from his mistakes. A wise man learns from the mistakes of others.

Let Millenials be smart. Let Generation Z be wise.

I’m Not With Kap.

In this post, I make the assumption that you already know what’s going on with Colin Kaepernick.

In recent news, there’s been a bit of drama unfolding over the state of Colin Kaepernick’s unemployment. Apparently, no teams will take him. Word is that coaches fear that he will continue to bring his brand of protesting to their field, and possibly break up their locker room chemistry with his opinions.

They fear that they have a lot to lose by hiring him, while not gaining a very valuable player. He’s kind of a hybrid quarterback, rather than an offensive pocket passer. Imagine that. Offensive off the field instead of on it.

Besides that, no one hears him talk about wanting to work. It is instead other people who want him to work. They want someone famous and black(ish) to kneel during the anthem, and get paid to disrespect this country. They want a figurehead to point to when no one will listen.

This one man circus act is indicative of a larger problem with today’s youth, particularly the college age people I’m seeing these days who are unemployed, or not employable. These people are young, but think that they know everything. They are entitled, while they have contributed little.

It is, at its core, a personal issue. These people feel that they can bring their opinions and their drama and their politics to their place of work, and feel that it should be okay to telegraph their issues to everyone they encounter. Moreover, many of them, never having been properly scolded while growing up, now feel that it is an injustice when they are stymied or stifled. Walk into a Whole Foods wearing a Trump hat, and wait for the employee that feels he can lecture you on politics instead of doing his job. These are the same people that would call it a micro aggression when I said ‘his job’.

I hate to be a bearer of ill will, but I hope that Colin Kaepernick does not find a place within an NFL team. I hope he serves as an example to those who feel that they can use their job as a platform for their various idiosyncrasies. It’s time for professionalism to come back.

An Evening in Downtown Phoenix.

I was at the Trump rally in Phoenix last night. I ended up getting there quite late, roughly 7 o’clock. The last few people who were going to get into the convention center were entering. The sidewalks were crowded, with protesters on one side of the street and Trump supporters on the other. The streets themselves were relatively clear, thanks to the phoenix police. Knowing that there was no chance of getting in, I wandered the streets and enjoy the sights and sounds of the throng on both sides of the street.

Amid cries of “Fuck Trump!”, which has become the standard battle cry for the erudite leftists when they find they have no actual argument, there were a group of BLM members that were playing a rap song on a boombox that also featured the term “fuck Trump”. A highly imaginative group on that side of the street.

Meanwhile, on the conservative side of the street, there were discussions going on as to what was being said by Donald Trump inside of the building, as many people were streaming it on their phones while they stood on the sidewalk.

There was one guy wearing a white wife beater that was admonishing the conservatives by naming downtrodden communities like Harlem and Compton. Y’all wouldn’t understand, he said. Y’all don’t know, he said. How little this man does now. I grew up in a place like that. Unlike him, however, I didn’t sit around for decades feeling sorry for myself. I decided that my lot in life was not the hand I was dealt. I, therefore, did not sympathize with this man.

I saw police on horses wearing riot gear, and police on the ground wearing the same. It was far too hot outside for what they were wearing. And yet, it was necessary, due to the situation that could pop off at any moment. When Trump’s address ended, The attendees, obviously conservatives and Trump supporters, filed past the protesters, with mere feet of space and a thin line of police tape separating the two groups.

I was prepared for a fight at one point, as a man who had his little girl with him who couldn’t possibly have been above ten years old, was harassed and shouted at by the protesters with a level of profanity that a girl that young should not have to listen to. Her father was obviously perturbed and offended, as he flipped the bird at the group. Two protesters broke off from the rest and began to follow him and his daughter. I followed as well, prepared to put them both on the ground if they attacked the man and his daughter. Eventually they backed off and went back to their group, to resume shouting at the passing conservatives.

While I wandered, I made sure to listen to the conversations going on. Something that struck me was how everyone on the liberal side of the street seems to be looking for a solution to their problems that didn’t involve actually solving them. They wanted somebody to point the finger at, someone to blame. Not themselves, though. Clearly, nobody can be responsible for their own life and decisions. They were born poor, and raised by single mothers. They can’t possibly have any responsibility in this world.

There were a small group of BLM members that were trying to blame Whitey for every problem they ever had, but they mainly kept to themselves.

There was one point during which a very large and muscular man wearing a trump shirt passed by. The protesters became conspicuously quiet at that moment. They who are so keen on violence to spread their word, but only toward those who are unlikely to hit back. It was very telling.

Among the people wandering around observing was a man who was dressed in furs and wearing a spirit hood. He appeared to be a centrist, and was trying to let both sides know that they were wrong in opposing each other.

Anyways, once all of the attendees left, and the only people remaining where the conservatives and protesters of various ilk on opposite sides of the street, the police deployed teargas to disburse the crowds. I don’t blame them one bit. I’m sure that thousands of people on either side of the street did not have work to get to in the morning, and would’ve gladly stayed there all night carousing, arguing, and fighting. In that heat, in the clothing they had to wear, with dehydration weighing on them, I fully understand why the police did what they did. I also fully support it. They had families to get home to. They were tired, and had beds they wanted to collapse into.

In short, the evening was relatively uneventful, compared to what was expected. Phoenix showed that it, as a collective, has a little more class than some of the other cities we’ve seen. I’m proud to live here, and look forward to seeing other cities live up to what I saw last night.

Crabs in a Bucket

Society holds itself down while it has a hissy fit over things that don’t matter.

Have you ever heard of the term “Crabs in a bucket”?

It describes the practice of crabbers placing freshly caught crabs on their backs into the bucket, legs in the air. They do this because any crab that attempts to escape the bucket will be held down by the groping appendages of the crabs underneath it. An otherwise successful escape foiled by one’s own peers.

It sounds funny and counter-intuitive. What animal bent on survival could ever be caught in such a trap, that a trapper would think of this as a solution?

I give you, modern man.

Some of you may be reading this asking if I’ve just assumed your gender.

Crab, meet bucket.

Yes, today’s trend of looking for problems where there are none is an example of the crab bucket trap. While you’re so busy taking down your fellow man, others are moving closer and closer to success in their lives.

Have you ever seen what happens when somebody grows up in the ghetto and attempts to move out and make better of his or her life? It’s amazing how quickly that person’s peers develop an attitude toward them. Chris Rock said it best when it comes to a black man trying to make his life better. I don’t think I need to quote it, I’m pretty sure you already know what it says.

Despite it being 2017, people still get this attitude. Look at Bryant Gumbel. He gets called in Uncle Tom by his own “community”, because he doesn’t act the way rap music videos would suggest he should. Let’s go even further. This Group of activists called black lives matter is following the same pattern as the KKK, even going so far as to attempt to segregate black people from white people. Weren’t we as humans supposed to be moving forward, not backward?

It goes even further. In Canada, a person can now be fined for calling somebody by the wrong gender. Now you might think that’s pretty simple. See a woman call her ma’am. See a man, call him Sir. Oh, if only it were that simple. Not only do some men get to identify as women, and women get to identify as man, but the community that has caused this madness continues to add more and more varying degrees of gender to their repertoire. Xir, Xur, Zir, Zer, Zur, the list goes on, and you can be fined for mishandling any of them. By the way, my AutoCorrect went insane on me during all of that.

It’s 2017. We should know better than to allow this childish behavior.

Gender fluidity, gender queerness, or even being trans racial. People are finding too many ways to get offended and is too many ways to whore for attention.

Don’t even get me started on otherkin.

Insanity like this is causing progress as a society to grind to a halt, while we coddle the feelings of the worst of us. Selfish, childish people are being given places of authority that they simply do not deserve. When the inmates run the asylum, what are the rest of us to do? People like Lena Dunham, an admitted child molester, are given places of cultural influence, where their mental frailty is wielded against an audience of millions, and the mentally ill among them are emboldened by what they see.

The rest of us are being told to simply look on and embrace this brand of progress. Anyone who tries to better himself(I assumed his gender) must first assimilate, or be trampled under the weight(often literally) of various shades of ally who come to ensure that the new wave of fascism is given its due.

In this new age of identity politics, no one gets by on their merits any more. You need to fit into a prescribed box, and hope that you’ve picked the right(left) one.

Meritocracy needs to make a comeback. Your work should be more valuable in the market than your identity. You are more than just your race or gender.
